Visually Unforgettable Impact
Through high-speed flowing lines × vivid and avant-garde colors, Japanese illustrator artist MITSUME constructs a highly recognizable artistic world—intense, intuitive, and impossible to ignore.
The bold and original composition, resembling an ever-expanding cast of characters, keeps the image full of tension and rhythm.
This is not decoration—it is presence itself.
Internationally Acclaimed Artistic Practice
Since debuting at the Paris International Textile Exhibition "Première Vision" in 2007, MITSUME has continued to base their creative activities overseas, actively participating in international art and design circles.
In 2017, he was selected for the global corporation ADOBE SYSTEMS' "ADOBE REMIX PROJECT," becoming the second Japanese artist invited to the initiative, with his visual language receiving high international acclaim.
Subsequently, MITSUME has engaged in live creation and exhibitions in France, the UK, South Korea, Taiwan, the United States, and more, while collaborating extensively with fashion, graphic design, and product brands. He is a popular illustrator artist active on the international stage, whose creations and activities span multiple fields and attract widespread attention.
First Solo Exhibition in Japan — "A and B and Someting Else"
This series serves as the central theme of MITSUME × ART VIVANT’s first solo exhibition in Japan.
The creative core focuses on the ineffable that exists between A and B beyond "opposition"—perhaps it is emotion, consciousness, relationship, or an as-yet-unnamed "existence itself." Vague yet real, abstract yet striking to the senses.
The series consists of six limited-edition prints, each presenting a different visual rhythm and emotional density, allowing viewers to freely choose based on intuition and resonance.
Made in Japan × Craftsmanship of Professional Printmaking Artistry
The works are realized using Japan's mature and meticulous printmaking techniques, preserving the distinctive sense of speed and pictorial tension characteristic of MITSUME—from subtle color gradients to precise line expression.
Collecting is no longer just about pursuing the "best," but about choosing the piece that resonates most deeply with you.
These works are not merely visual symbols confined to exhibition spaces; they are intended to enter everyday environments—becoming artistic presences that accompany daily life.
